RDA Europe Cascading Grants
The Research Data Alliance (RDA) is an international member-based organisation focused on the development of infrastructure and community activities to reduce the social and technical barriers to data sharing and re-use and to promote the acceleration of data driven innovation and discovery worldwide.
RDA Europe 4.0 is an offshoot of the international Research Data Alliance (RDA) and a Coordination & Support Action co-funded by the European Commission under the Research and Innovation Framework Programme, Horizon 2020 (H2020). The objective of RDA Europe 4.0 is to become the centrepiece for a EU Open Science Strategy, bringing forward an RDA legacy in Europe, providing skilled, voluntary resources from the EU investment to address Digital Single Market issues.
In order to reach this objective, between 2018 and 2020 RDA Europe 4.0 supported growing the community of research data experts and practitioners by a series of open calls offering grants for new RDA Europe national nodes, early career researchers and experts, RDA ambassadors, and RDA output-adoption.
