The Finnish node organized its first National Node event on 6 June 2018 in Espoo, Finland. It attracted around 50 participants to get to know what an RDA Europe National Node is. The focus of the event was on how RDA and FAIR can help researchers, and Sarah Jones (DCC) presented the recent work of EC’s FAIR Data Expert Group. “This was an excellent kick-off for Finnish National Node activities. We collected valuable feedback from participants on what are the most interesting aspects we should focus on in our future national node events, and these will all be taking into account when planning our next events.” Riina Salmivalli, Finnish node coordinator.
